Mixed Cases
Mixed cases that take the guesswork out of buying wine.
Buying a mixed case should be exciting, not overwhelming. The problem with most mixed cases is that they are assembled by buyers who have never met you: a grab-bag of whatever margin works. At Taste of the Vines, Mark puts cases together properly: wines that work as a set, cover the right range of styles and give you something to look forward to opening each time.
Below you will find Mark's standing case selections, each one purchasable directly. Add a case to your cart and it will arrive ready to open. Free delivery on orders over £150.

Dinner Party Case
Built for a table with people round it — something crisp to hand guests as they arrive, and reds with enough character to carry a main without stealing the conversation. Generous, easy-to-like bottles rather than ones that demand a lecture, so you can pour confidently whoever's coming. Enough range to see you from starters to the cheese.

Explorer Wine Case
Six bottles I'd hand you if you asked me to surprise you. A deliberate spread across styles and countries, no two the same. It's what I recommend when you want to widen what you drink without doing the legwork: pour them over a few weeks and you'll soon know what you reach for again. Every one's earned its place because I've tasted it, not because it filled a slot.

Great Value Case
Six honest, well-priced bottles that punch above what you pay, the everyday wine I'd happily open on a Tuesday, with nothing here as filler. The case for stocking the rack without overthinking it, or a first order to see how we choose. Good drinking, sensible money.

Two Coasts, Two Continents
Although Kooyong and Fattoria Mancini sit almost 9,000 miles apart, they have rather more in common than you might expect.
Kooyong is based on Australia’s Mornington Peninsula, while Fattoria Mancini sits on the Adriatic coast of Italy’s Marche region. What connects them is the sea. For Kooyong, it is the cooling influence of the Tasman Sea; for Mancini, the Adriatic. In both places, that maritime influence helps moderate the climate, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining freshness, structure and elegance.
They are also both wineries that can be easily overlooked in favour of regions more famous for the varieties they grow. That would be a mistake.
If you love the finesse and complexity of great Burgundy, or the savoury elegance and structure of the best wines of Tuscany, these are two producers well worth discovering.
