I did this on a tasting on Friday and even though I have had it many times before it never disappoints. Always lovely bright fruit with great herbal elements, it was the favourite of the night.

Well I think I have a new favourite Chardonnay. Decanted for 30 minutes, opens with fantastic bright lemon and a hint of vanilla followed by a palette of superb balance, hints of Jasmin, pear, apple. It very much reminded me of some of the great Californian Chardonnays but with way more elegance, buy it while you can.

I did this at a recent tasting and I have not had a Pinot Noir that is anything quite like this. It has a massive array of aromas and flavours that evolve as it opens, I decanted for 3 hours before and upon pouring it had a great nose of spice, light berry fruits and a good hit of spice, the palette at first had a lovely hit of violet followed by strawberry, cherry and a hint of marzipan. Already well integrated with a good line of acidity, will be interesting to see how it develops with more bottle age.

Fantastic nose of fresh berry fruit with a hint of spice, palate of berry,citrus, pear and a hint of pepper on the finish.
