The Domaine Jean Fournier is a family-run estate located in Marsannay-la-Côte, at the northern tip of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. They have been in the village for several generations, the Fournier family now cultivates around 18 hectares of vineyards spread across the appellations of Marsannay, Fixin, Gevrey-Chambertin, as well as some plots in the Côte de Beaune.
The Domaine Jean Fournier Marsannay Clos du Roy 2023 features a pronounced nose with focused aromas of red berries and cherries, complemented by subtle spices and a touch of oak. On the palate, it is wonderfully ripe, balanced, and layered, indicating it should age effortlessly and provide significant pleasure.
