Pelaverga is a rare Piedmont grape that nearly disappeared, and it makes one of the most charming light reds you can find. Bright red fruit, a twist of white pepper and very little tannin, so you can even serve it lightly chilled. A lovely surprise for anyone who likes Pinot or Gamay.
The colour, which is not too intense, is typical of this variety and leaves room for brilliant, vibrant tones of red, signs of its forwardness and youth. The predominant characteristic of the varietal is the richness of the perfumes: a jubilee of spices that delicately alter leaving plenty of room for warm, intense, encompassing notes of pepper.100% Pelaverga
