Red
Diego Morra Barbera D'Alba 2023
From £22.95
Why Mark chose this
Diego Morra is one of Verduno’s stars; his wines capture the character of this less-famous corner of Barolo. I like them because they give a clear sense of origin and are a straightforward, reliable way to explore Barolo beyond the usual names.

Tasting Notes
In the glass it shows an intense, fragrant profile: cherry and blackberry on the nose, with ripe raspberry, light spicy notes and delicate floral hints. The fruit is sharp and bright, typical of Barbera from the hills of the Langhe. On the palate it has lively freshness from the vine's natural acidity. The sip is smooth and juicy, with soft tannins and a balanced texture leading to a harmonious, fruity, very gastronomic finish that easily accompanies the whole table.
