Wines from Piedmont

Piedmont, in Italy's north-west, is home to Barolo and Barbaresco, Nebbiolo at its most serious, but also to lovely, earlier-drinking Barbera, Dolcetto and white Arneis. It's a region for people who like a bit of structure and perfume in their glass. These are my current picks, from weeknight bottles to wines for the cellar.
