Proprietà Sperino is one of the estate's reviving this forgotten corner of Piedmont, and the Uvaggio is their approachable entry point: a blend of Nebbiolo with a little Vespolina and Croatina that gives the wine an extra spicy, floral edge. Marked as fine wine and priced accordingly, but it's the kind of discovery that sticks with you.

Tasting Notes
80% Nebbiolo, 15% Vespolina, 5% Croatina. Grapes for this wine are grown in the Ormeggio, Castagnola and Belvedere vineyards in Lessona in the Orolungo region, included in the Lessona D.O.C.They are also grown in the 35 year old Madonna degli Angeli vineyard in Brusnengo in the Forte region. It is included in the Bramaterra D.O.C. 5.000 vines per hectare.
