Domaine Jean Fournier is one of the leading names in Marsannay, at the northern tip of Burgundy's Côte de Nuits. Laurent Fournier has taken this old family domaine, one of the longest-established in the village, and turned it into a benchmark, farming organically and making wines with real energy.

Marsannay remains one of Burgundy's best-value villages, and Fournier's single-vineyard bottlings like Clos du Roy and Le Chapitre show just how serious it can be: perfumed, structured Pinot Noir that punches well above the appellation's modest reputation.
