Quinta da Lixa

Quinta da Lixa is a family firm in the heart of Vinho Verde country in Portugal's green, rainy north-west. The Meireles family started out in the 1980s selling wine at the cellar door and have grown into one of the region's most respected producers, with extensive estate vineyards.

Their Vinho Verde is just what the style should be: light, zesty and faintly spritzy, with lemon and green apple freshness. Chill it hard and drink it young. With seafood, salads or sunshine, it is one of wine's simplest pleasures.
