Prunus White DAO 2023
£89.95 / case
Why Mark chose this
Dão is one of Portugal's most underrated white wine regions, and Prunus uses a blend of four local grapes, led by Encruzado, to make a fresh, easy-drinking white with more character than its price suggests. Encruzado in particular gives Dão whites a freshness and a slightly almond-like quality that is very appealing. A good house white and an ideal introduction to Portuguese white wine.
