Dão is one of Portugal's most underrated red wine regions, producing wines with good structure and freshness from granite soils at altitude. Prunus blends four local grapes led by Jaen, and the result is an easy-drinking, characterful Portuguese red at a price that makes it a very good everyday option. An honest bottle with a bit of personality.
A blend of Jaen (80%), Tinta Roriz (10%), Alfrocheiro Preto (5%) and Touriga Nacional (5%) . A Great value Portugese Red.
