Fontanabianca

Fontanabianca is a 15-hectare estate in Neive, one of Barbaresco's three communes, owned and run by the Pola family. The name refers to the white spring on the property, and the estate has been producing Barbaresco from the Bordini vineyard for several decades.

Neive Barbaresco can be slightly less feted than wine from the Barbaresco or Treiso communes, but the soils here are excellent and the Pola family makes Nebbiolo of real quality and depth. A committed small producer with genuine long-term ties to the zone.
