Dievole

Dievole is an ancient Chianti Classico estate at Vagliagli, in the hills of Castelnuovo Berardenga; records of the name go back to 1090. Since 2012 it has been through a complete renaissance under new ownership, with the vineyards renewed, certified organic and pushed firmly towards quality.

Vigna di Sessina is the top of the range: a Gran Selezione from a single high-altitude vineyard planted entirely with Sangiovese. It is a polished, serious Chianti Classico with ripe dark cherry fruit, spice and beautifully judged oak.
