Santini is a tiny, organic estate in Bolgheri, one of the first producers there to get organic certification, and I Montali is their main red: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a bit of Syrah and Sangiovese, from twelve hectares farmed without chemicals. The 2018 vintage in Tuscany gave warm, ripe wines with good structure, and this has had time to integrate properly. A serious Bolgheri red at a price that reflects the estate's small scale rather than its ambitions.

Tasting Notes
He began in 1998, planting the first vineyards around his house, turning the garage and the cellar into venues dedicated to winemaking and aging. From the beginning he has focused on organic certification and in fact he was the first Bolgheri producer to obtain it. Today there are 12 hectares arranged in different plots along the Accattapane area. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sangiovese.
