Woodlands

Woodlands is a family estate in the Wilyabrup valley, one of the most highly regarded sub-regions within Margaret River for Cabernet Sauvignon. The Watson family planted their first vines decades ago and have been farming the same south-facing sandy loam and gravel soils ever since, building up old plantings that now contribute real depth to the wines.

The estate produces both a single-vineyard Cabernet and a more approachable valley blend, drawing on estate and neighbouring vineyards. Both are good examples of why Margaret River Cabernet has earned its place among the world's best.
