Teruzzi

Teruzzi is based in San Gimignano, the medieval hilltown in central Tuscany that lends its name to Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the white wine appellation in which the estate specialises. Vernaccia is one of Italy's older documented grape varieties, and it makes dry whites with a particular nutty, slightly bitter character that sets them apart from most Italian whites.

The core of the range is made in stainless steel to keep the wines fresh and true to the variety, from fruit grown on the Pliocene soils around San Gimignano. The wines are balanced, mineral and faintly floral, and they work very well at the table.
