Tenuta di Biserno was established by Lodovico Antinori, brother of Piero and a key figure in the development of the Bolgheri coast, who had previously created Ornellaia. The Biserno estate sits near Bibbona and is focused on Bordeaux-influenced blends led by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The estate makes its top wine alongside wines from younger vines that bring the same ambition at a more accessible level. The fruit is ripe and generous, the oak is well handled, and the wines have the structure to develop in bottle. This is serious Tuscan red from a producer who knows exactly what they are doing.
