La Braccesca

La Braccesca is one of the Antinori family's Tuscan estates, in Montepulciano, where Sangiovese is grown as Prugnolo Gentile for the Vino Nobile appellation. The estate makes wines across the full local hierarchy, from early-drinking Rosso di Montepulciano blended with a little Merlot up to the more structured Vino Nobile.

Antinori's involvement brings a certain level of technical polish, and the wines deliver: bright, fruity reds with Sangiovese's trademark freshness and enough structure to sit well with food. This is good, reliable Tuscan wine.
