Domaine les Alexandrins

Domaine les Alexandrins is a partnership between three Rhône families: Nicolas Jaboulet, Guillaume Sorrel, and Alexandre Caso. All three have deep roots in the Northern Rhône and the project, launched in the early 2010s, is built around old-vine Syrah from Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph, the two appellations that flank the famous Hermitage hill.

The wines are made with restraint and a clear focus on site. Rather than broad appellation blends, the domaine works with specific lieu-dits, giving the wines a precision that goes beyond what most larger houses achieve. This is Northern Rhône Syrah at its most focused, without the premium that Hermitage itself commands.
