Clusel-Roch is a small, artisan estate that sits quietly in the shadow of the great Côte-Rôtie names, and that's a shame, because the wines are superb. The 2015 is drinking beautifully now, a year that gave the northern Rhône real depth and concentration. Syrah from these steep granite slopes has a character you simply can't replicate anywhere else: floral, mineral and powerful all at once.

Tasting Notes
Violet Colour. Powerful cherry, dark berry and olive scents are complemented by intense mineral and spice accents. Deep-pitched black currant, bitter cherry flavors show an appealing blend of power and finesse. Shows impressive energy and dark fruit with a light tannic finish, which leaves behind notes of candied flowers and cracked pepper.
