Sangiovese Wines
Sangiovese is Tuscany in a glass: sour cherry, herbs and a savoury edge that makes it one of the great food wines. It's rarely showy, which is exactly why I like it. From honest Chianti to serious Brunello, these are the Sangioveses I'm happy to stand behind.

About Sangiovese
Sangiovese is the grape behind Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile: cherry-scented, savoury and firm, with a natural grip that makes it one of the great food wines. It is at its best in Tuscany but turns up across central Italy, always with that unmistakable sour-cherry-and-herb character.
Every Sangiovese here has been tasted and chosen by Mark. If you would like help finding the right one, he is happy to advise.
From Tuscany
Sangiovese's spiritual home: Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile, where the grape reaches its most complete.
