Wines from Marche

The Marche sits on Italy's Adriatic coast and is home to Verdicchio, one of the country's most underrated whites: crisp and saline, with a nutty depth. There are honest, characterful reds from Montepulciano too. Lovely wines at prices that haven't caught up with the quality.
