Warre's

Warre's is the oldest British Port house, founded in Oporto in 1670, and today it is part of the Symington family group, who farm some of the finest vineyards in the Douro Valley.

Vintage Port is only declared in exceptional years, and Warre's is consistently among the most elegant of them: fragrant, floral and beautifully balanced rather than merely powerful. The 2016 comes from a widely celebrated declaration and will reward decades of patience, though it is hard to resist young with good cheese.
