Kooyong

Kooyong is one of the leading estates on the Mornington Peninsula, the cool, maritime finger of land south of Melbourne that has become Australia's answer to Burgundy. The vineyard was planted in the 1990s and is farmed with a strong focus on expressing individual sites.

Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the heart of the estate, made in a restrained, European-leaning style: taut stone fruit and savoury complexity in the whites, dark cherry and fine tannin in the reds. Serious cool-climate winemaking from one of the region's benchmarks.
