First Fleet

First Fleet takes its name from the ships that made the long voyage from England to Australia in 1787, and the wines are made in the same easy-going, generous spirit that made Australian wine famous in the first place.

These are unpretentious, modern bottles from South Eastern Australia: ripe fruit, soft textures, no hard edges. The Shiraz is all mulberry and spice, the whites crisp and clean. Honest weeknight drinking at a very fair price.
