Aged in the cellars at Greywacke, the only chance that you will get to try one of the greatest New Zealand Sauvignons aged correctly.
Notes of almond cake are laced with white nectarine, blood orange and cantaloupe which intermingle with herbal notes of tarragon and lightly smoked tea. This is an alternative style of Sauvignon Blanc that is both intricate and textural due to the fermentation with entirely indigenous yeast.
Oysters, shellfish and chicken all benefit from a dry, citrus-driven white. The acidity brightens the briny shellfish and keeps richer chicken dishes fresh on the palate.
