Testulat

Testulat is a récoltant-manipulant Champagne house based in Epernay, working with fruit from their own vineyards as well as from the Côte des Bars in the Aube, the southern part of the Champagne region where Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier do particularly well on the chalk-limestone soils.

The house specialises in Blanc de Noirs, made entirely from black-skinned grapes pressed carefully to give a white wine. This gives a fuller, rounder style of Champagne than you get from Chardonnay-dominant blends: creamy, with red fruit undertones and good structure. Solid, honest Champagne at a fair price.
