Testulat

Testulat is a Champagne house based in Épernay, and it works with black grapes in particular. Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier do the heavy lifting here.

The house is known for Blanc de Noirs, made entirely from black-skinned grapes that are pressed carefully to give a white wine. This gives a fuller, rounder style of Champagne than you get from Chardonnay-dominant blends: creamy, with red fruit undertones and good structure. It is solid, honest Champagne.
