Telmo Rodriguez

Telmo Rodriguez spent much of the 1990s and 2000s tracking down old, ungrafted vineyards in forgotten corners of Spain, Ribeiro, Toro, Malaga, Priorat, bringing neglected sites and varieties back into production. He has since returned to his family's Rioja base, but the restless curiosity that drove that earlier work still shows in the wines.

The range spans from an accessible, everyday Tempranillo-led blend made from organic certified estate grapes and locally sourced fruit, through to more structured single-estate bottlings. All of them are honest about what they are, with a clarity and freshness that reflects serious winemaking applied to unpretentious material.
