Jeffrey Grosset is the most respected Riesling producer in the Clare Valley, and possibly in Australia. He has been making wine in Clare since 1981, farming his own vineyards with care and drawing on a deep understanding of the soils and mesoclimates that make the valley so well suited to this grape.

The estate makes several Rieslings from different sites, including the benchmark Polish Hill and Watervale single-vineyard bottlings, as well as more approachable wines that share the same precise, dry style and Clare's characteristic lime-zest finish. The same care goes into all of them, and together they show why Grosset is treated as the reference point for this grape and this region.
