Drappier

Drappier is a family-owned Champagne house based in Urville, in the Aube department south of the main Marne Valley. The family has been here since 1808, and unlike the large Reims and Épernay houses they work primarily with estate fruit and build their wines around Pinot Noir rather than Chardonnay.

The range runs from well-priced, food-friendly house Champagne to Brut Nature expressions made with zero dosage, showing Pinot Noir as a bracing, honest style without anything added to sweeten the finish. Drappier is not chasing prestige or headlines; it is just making very good Champagne from a family that clearly loves making it.
