Domaine Joseph Voillot

Domaine Joseph Voillot is based in Volnay, one of the Côte de Beaune communes that produces some of Burgundy's most precise and distinctive Pinot Noir. The village sits at altitude with most of its vineyard land in Premier Cru, and Voillot owns parcels in several of the best sites, including Les Caillerets, which is considered among Volnay's finest.

The wines are made in a traditional style with good concentration and the kind of finesse that Volnay does better than anywhere. Jean-Marc Voillot, who runs the domaine today, is a reliable hand and the Caillerets is a genuine benchmark for the village.
