Domaine Michel Lafarge is one of the most serious and long-established estates in the Côte de Beaune. Their Meursault is made in the traditional style: nothing showy, no heavy oak, just the very best expression of what the appellation can do with Chardonnay. The 2019 vintage gave warm, ripe fruit with the structure to age well. Village Meursault from Lafarge is a benchmark. Anyone who loves white Burgundy should try it at least once.
