Château La Coste

Château La Coste sits just north of Aix-en-Provence at Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, and there is nowhere else quite like it. Organically farmed vines share the estate with an extraordinary collection of art and architecture: cellars by Jean Nouvel, a music pavilion by Frank Gehry, buildings by Tadao Ando, sculpture by Louise Bourgeois in the grounds.

The wine is taken as seriously as the art. The vineyards sit on the northern edge of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation, certified organic and now converting to biodynamics, and rosé is what the estate is best known for. Ours is the classic pale Provençal style, a blend led by Grenache with Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, and we stock it in a 500ml bottle and in magnum.
