Château du Trignon sits beside the Trignon stream just outside Gigondas, with a patchwork of vineyards stretching from the warm plains of Plan de Dieu up to cooler, higher terraces near the Dentelles de Montmirail. In the cellar, gravity handling and a mix of concrete, stainless steel, and measured oak élevage keep the wines generous yet defined.
A rich bouquet of red and black fruits with spicy notes. Full-bodied on the palate, with a fleshy attack, marked tannins and a complex structure. Delicate woody finish with a great aptitude for ageing.
Pairs well with rich red meats in sauce — particularly leg of lamb — and with truffle dishes.
