Benjamin Leroux

Benjamin Leroux was born in Beaune in 1975 and was running the celebrated Domaine du Comte Armand in Pommard by the age of 24. He stayed there for fifteen vintages, starting his own small négociant house in Beaune in 2007 and leaving in 2014 to give it his full attention.

He now makes wines from vineyards right along the Côte d'Or, from Chassagne-Montrachet up to Gevrey-Chambertin, farming his own eight hectares organically alongside carefully sourced grapes. His peers consider him one of the most talented winemakers in Burgundy, and the wines back that up: pure fruit, seamless texture, nothing forced. Our Gevrey-Chambertin is a fine example of his way with Pinot Noir.
