Friuli Colli Orientali is where Pinot Grigio earns real respect, and Specogna are one of the better family producers in the zone. This is nothing like the thin, neutral version that fills supermarket shelves: Friulian Pinot Grigio at this level has texture and a slight copper tinge, with real weight and a dry, savoury finish. Good with food and a sensible step up from everyday Pinot Grigio.
