Ferraton Pere & Fils Le Parvis Chateauneuf du Pape Red 2022 Magnum
£67.95
Why Mark chose this
Châteauneuf-du-Pape in magnum is already a good idea, and this Ferraton blend of mainly Grenache with Syrah and Mourvèdre is a solid example of the appellation at its most generous and warming. Big old barrels and vats for 12 to 15 months give it integration without extracting too much oak. The magnum format means it will age more slowly and keep well for years, which makes it a very practical choice for a cellar or a big gathering.
