Edetaria Selsccio Blanc 2018
£33.95
Why Mark chose this
Terra Alta is one of Spain's more obscure appellations, tucked up in the inland hills of Catalonia, and Garnacha Blanca from old vines on fossilised sand dunes is about as niche as it gets. But Edetaria is a serious producer and this 60-year-old vine wine, fermented and aged in 500-litre French oak barrels, delivers real depth and complexity. Ripe but structured, with an intriguing character you won't find from anywhere else.

Tasting Notes
This wine is made with 100% garnacha blanca from old vines -60 years old- in “panal” soils (fossilized sand dunes) with extremely low yields. Grapes are fermented in French oak 500 l. barrels and then aged for 8 months.
