Wines from Goriska Brda

Goriška Brda is Slovenia's most celebrated wine region, a ribbon of steep, beautiful hills on the Italian border; the vineyards continue straight into Collio on the other side. Whites lead the way: Rebula, Pinot Bianco and friends, fresh and mineral with lovely texture. Quality is high and prices are still kind, which is a combination worth taking seriously.
