Wines from Calatayud

Calatayud, in the hills of Aragón, is one of Spain's highest wine regions, with vineyards climbing from around 650 metres to well over 900. Old bush-vine Garnacha on slate and stony soils is the story here: hot days, cold nights and poor ground give reds that are concentrated yet fresh, and often remarkable value. Our Gallina de Piel Mimetic is a fine example, a modern, perfumed take on the region's Garnacha.
