Wines from Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the region everyone has an opinion about, usually formed by the handful of châteaux whose prices make the news. The rest of it — the great majority — is simply very good claret, made by people who have been doing it a long time.

Mark stays out of the trophy end and buys where the wine still relates to what it costs, including the dry whites from Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc that get forgotten in all the noise about the reds.
