No Fine Print is a California label started by two music-industry managers and a sommelier, with a simple idea: good wine, clearly labelled, with nothing to hide. The fruit comes overwhelmingly from certified sustainable vineyards in Lodi, where sandy soils and the cooling influence of the Delta suit the classic red grapes.

Their Cabernet Sauvignon is exactly what Californian Cabernet should be when it is made for drinking rather than cellaring: dark cassis and blackberry fruit, a touch of vanilla, smooth tannins. It is an easy, generous red for burgers, steak or simply the end of a long day.
