Mannara is a Sicilian label focused on the island's warm-climate strengths: generous reds and characterful whites from Terre Siciliane vineyards, made by an experienced Italian winemaking team.
Syrah shows what they do well. Sicily suits the grape remarkably well, and in their hands it gives blackberry and plum fruit with the grape's telltale black pepper, smooth and medium-bodied. These are honest, crowd-pleasing wines that do not need an occasion.
