Maison Mure

The Muré family have been making wine at Rouffach in southern Alsace since the middle of the seventeenth century, and today they are among the region's most respected producers, with organic and biodynamic farming at the core of their work. Their crown jewel is the Clos Saint-Landelin, a steep, sun-trapped vineyard within the Grand Cru Vorbourg.

Les Iris Pinot Blanc, named for the wild irises that grow along the vine rows, is a lovely introduction to the house style: fresh pear and blossom, gentle minerality and a clean, dry finish that makes it endlessly food-friendly.
