Maison Mure

The Muré family have been making wine at Rouffach in southern Alsace since the middle of the seventeenth century, and today they are among the region's most respected producers, with organic and biodynamic farming at the core of their work. Their best-known vineyard is the Clos Saint-Landelin, a steep, sun-trapped site within the Grand Cru Vorbourg.

The everyday wines are a lovely introduction to the house style. The Pinot Blanc in particular shows fresh pear and blossom, gentle minerality and a clean, dry finish, which makes it an easy wine to match with food.
