Domaine Jacques Prieur is a Meursault-based estate with an unusually broad spread of holdings across some of Burgundy's finest sites, including Musigny, Chambertin, Montrachet and Corton-Charlemagne. Very few domaines can put that many great names on a single list, and between them they run almost the whole length of the Côte d'Or.

The whites in particular show what Puligny-Montrachet and its neighbours can do with Chardonnay: texture, precision, and a floral freshness that lifts the weight of the oak. The domaine's premier cru holdings in Puligny include Les Combettes, which borders Meursault and tends to produce wines that are both structured and fine. These are Burgundies made with real care at every level of the range.
