Roter Traminer Wines

Roter Traminer is the pink-skinned form of the ancient Traminer grape, a close relation of Gewurztraminer, with the same spice and rose-petal perfume in a slightly more restrained register. It is a rarity these days, cherished by a few growers in Austria and central Europe, and it shines brightest in rich, late-harvested sweet styles.
