Wines from Greece

Greek wine deserves far more attention than it gets. Assyrtiko from Santorini's volcanic soils, Xinomavro from the north with its Nebbiolo-like perfume, fresh whites from Crete. These are distinctive wines you simply can't get from anywhere else. Well worth a detour from the familiar.
