Ksara Cabernet Sauvignon Cuvée Speciale 2019
From £28.95
Why Mark chose this
Château Ksara is Lebanon's oldest and largest winery, and the Bekaa Valley has been making wine for thousands of years. This Cuvée Spéciale is a straight Cabernet Sauvignon with real presence: good dark fruit, firm tannins and that cedar note that Cabernet does so well in the right terroir. It's not a delicate wine, but it's well made and honest, and it offers something a bit different from the usual suspects. Worth trying if you're curious about Lebanese wine.

Tasting Notes
A wonderful expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, a grape that has thrived in the Bekaa’s formidable terroir. The wine exhibits the typicity –the fruit and the spice – of this famous variety while being filled with the spirit and character of an ancient land and besides, the firm tannins confer to the wine cedar notes
