Justino's is one of the larger Madeira houses and one of the most reliable, and this Rich five-year-old is a proper introduction to the style. Madeira is the wine that never goes off, genuinely one of the most long-lived wines in the world, and the Rich style sits between the dry Sercial and the sweeter Malmsey. Good on its own, very good with certain puddings and cheeses.
Brilliant amber in colour. Elegant and complex aromas with hints of vanilla and raisins. On the palate, the texture is rich and soft. Well balanced, with long and pleasant caramel notes to finish.
