Tasting Notes
92/100 - “The NV Champagne Cuvée Les Prémices Extra Brut pours a straw color and offers notes of ripe peach, orchard fruit, fresh nuts, and a powdery texture. Medium-bodied, it has a fine mousse with a zesty crispness on the finish. Salty and bright on the finish, I like the structure of this vintage, which has a more chiseled feel. This is Egly-Ouriet’s entry-level wine, but it has structure. Made from seven hectares of vineyard, the blend is a third of each grape (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier), aged for 3 years on the lees, base vintage 2021. - Audrey Frick, JebDunnuck.com
